Summer schools

Students are strongly encouraged to attend one or more courses at a qualified summer school, preferably during the first year's summer months. Although any social science oriented school may be considered, preference should be given to methods courses, as offered, e.g., by the following schools:

Selection of summer school courses is made in consultation with — and subject to the approval of — the Director of the Program.

A one-time Departmental allowance of up to 2,000 euro will be awarded to interested students to cover expenses related to summer school participation.
